If you’re craving intimate, not small… you’re in the right place.
Micro weddings are for couples who want the full Colorado ranch wedding feeling—just with fewer people and a simpler plan. Think 20–60 guests, one gorgeous location, and a day that feels intentional from start to finish.
This is your sweet spot if…
-
You’re inviting 20–60 guests and want real time with your people—not a packed crowd you barely get to hug.
-
You want the day to flow in one place—ceremony, cocktails, and reception all in our private valley (no moving guests around the ranch).
-
You want the outdoor magic without the “outdoor stress”—a tented setup, real infrastructure, and comfort already in place.
-
You like a clear plan: a 10-hour wedding-day window that keeps everything focused and easy for you and your vendors.
-
You’d rather put your money into the moments that matter—food, drinks, photos, music—without needing a full weekend takeover.
Most micro wedding couples here land in the $35,000–$70,000 all-in range depending on vendors and priorities.

What’s Included with your Micro-Wedding?
Your micro wedding includes the core setup that makes outdoor weddings feel smooth—not stressful. You’ll have a private valley location where your day flows naturally from ceremony to cocktails to dinner and dancing, with the infrastructure already in place.
A Full Wedding Day — Without Building It From Scratch
Private Valley Ceremony + Reception Flow
-
One location for the full celebration — so guests stay present and relaxed instead of bouncing between locations.
-
Built for a “just right” guest list — the valley feels intimate with 20–60, but still spacious and comfortable.
Tented Setup + Real Infrastructure
-
Tented event space — so you keep the open-air ranch feeling while staying protected if weather rolls in.
-
Power and practical infrastructure — so your vendors can do their jobs without “roughing it.”
-
Guest comfort basics covered — so your people can stay close to the action and enjoy the night.
Core Rentals Are Included
-
The essentials are already here — so you’re not chasing down a dozen rental vendors just to make the day functional and beautiful.

Clear Timing (So It’s Easy to Plan)
-
10-hour wedding-day window — long enough for a real wedding day, structured enough to keep things simple for you and your vendors.
-
Music wraps by 11:00 PM / guests out by midnight — so everyone ends the night smoothly and you’re not forcing a hard stop mid-vibe.
Guidance + Requirements That Protect Your Day
-
Day-of coordinator required — so your timeline stays on track and you’re not the one troubleshooting in boots and a suit.
-
BYOB allowed with a licensed/insured bartender — so you get flexibility without chaos.
-
Shuttles are required for most guest groups — so everyone arrives safely and the day stays easy from the very first moment.

From first dance to last song, the valley stays feeling like your own private little national park.

How to know if this is your lane
If your dream day is an intimate guest list, a private ranch setting, and a celebration that feels full and elevated without the “big wedding” complexity — this is usually the sweet spot.
Want to elevate it?
Many couples keep it simple — and some add a few upgrades to make it feel even more “them.” We’ll walk through options based on your priorities and guest experience goals.
On your intro call, we’ll walk through current pricing, what you’re envisioning, and whether a Micro-Wedding is likely to support your priorities—or if another package might be a better fit.
Micro-Weddings vs. Our Other Packages
Micro Weddings are your “right-sized” full wedding day—scaled down for a smaller guest count and budget and a full wedding day in June / July / August / October.
If you’re planning for a bigger guest list, want more built-in décor/support, or want a weekend-style celebration, one of our full wedding packages may fit better.
Choose this if…
-
You’re inviting 20–60 guests and want the full wedding feeling without the big-wedding complexity.
-
You want a clear plan: full day, one beautiful flow, and a celebration that feels intimate and elevated.
-
Your total budget is likely in the $35k–$70k all-in range depending on vendors and priorities.
Not sure where you fit? The call is for clarity—no pressure either way.
Micro-Weddings FAQs
01.
How many guests can we invite?
This package is designed for up to 60 guests total. If you’re trending beyond that, we’ll help you decide whether one of our full wedding packages is a better fit.
02.
What dates are Micro Weddings available?
Micro weddings are available in June, July, August, and October. We don’t offer micro weddings in September since that month is reserved for full-size weddings.
03.
How long do we have the venue on our wedding day?
You’ll have a 10-hour event window on your wedding day (example: 1:00–11:00 pm). Vendors also have scheduled setup/teardown access around ranch operations.
04.
Can we bring our own alcohol?
Yes—Lucky 8 Ranch is BYOB-friendly for beer, wine, and spirits, as long as alcohol is served by a licensed and insured bartending team and we stay within local regulations.
05.
Do we still need a planner or coordinator for a micro wedding?
Yes. We require at least a day-of coordinator. Our team handles venue/ranch logistics; your coordinator runs your timeline, décor, and vendor team.
06.
Do we have to use shuttles, and what time does the night end?
For safety and road capacity, we require most guests to arrive by shuttle from Steamboat, with limited parking reserved for vendors, accessibility needs, and a few VIP family members. Amplified music ends by 11:00 PM and guests depart by midnight.
